Stop motion - SMASH assignment

We had 2 hours to work on this assignment in class.

But I had slept in that day, and it was 40-45 minutes left when I get to the studio.
I animated this all in one take...

Wish I didn't slept in... could have done better for my portfolio... :/

Macquettes for my group film

I love sculpting, and I'm working on a group film for my third year. So I have decided to sculpt macquettes for my group as references uses while animating it.

Character designs done by Jung Ho Chang (Monk) and Connie Bi (Monkey).

I apologize for not having much recording on monkey's working progress.
I sculpted it the last, so I was very tired from sculpting the monk (my fingers were hurting from rubbing the clay too much) and just went straight ahead.

Not just my group members love it, everyone loves it!!! :)

Mini Me

"Hee hee hee hee..."

The head was too bad, I cut the whole face off and re-sculpt it... 3 times.

A FULL CYCLE OF IT!!!!! 8D

Hyena's head

I always forgot to take a picture of the armature... lol... I'm sorry~
I got too excited to sculpt the head,
so I didn't realize I have to take pictures from time to time.
^In these pictures, the surface looks pretty smooth. Because I closed my door and have my curtain over my window. (It was nighttime.)
The longer I worked, the warmer the room was getting. And I was wondering why the clay was getting smooth and soft, I thought it was because the summer weather cause the heat in the room...
And when I move the curtains, night breeze blows in... it feels like heaven.
lol~

Right after I finished the details, I brought it to the workshop right away to mold it and cast it.
I should have took a full cycle pictures of the sculptures...
